I can't seem to get the Tracking code?

Abdelrahman I Moussa Oct 31, 2016 10:26AM EDT

Every time i click the button that says "Get tracking code" I get to a page where there is a big X and it says your tracking information isn't available or your tracking code isn't live.

I can't seem to be able to get the code to add it to my site.

Since your site is on Shopify - you need to reinstall BoostSuite. Our records show you have removed BoostSuite from your account. This will reinstall the tracking code. Thank you.

I'm so sorry, I had Weebly stuck in my head! It looks like our tracking code is installed on your website, you just need to sync Google Analytics. You can find instructions for doing that at the bottom of this article:

Once you've done that, you just need to place a test order. This can be a customer order or an order that you create. It just needs to be a real order over $1. When you (or a customer) reach the final order confirmation page the order details are sent through to Google Analytics. Once we see some order data in Google Analytics we are able to tell you that the configuration is fully set up and working properly.

I hope that helps, but if you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask!

Best Regards,
-David W.

I have finished the syncing with Google Analytics.

Now, is it compulsory to place an order in order to start advertising, or it is just a measure to make sure I can track conversions?

- Co-Marketing Audience of 193: these 193 websites are already showing my ads?
- Where are my ads shown, within their website? Can you provide like a sample screenshot of what ads look like within a page? (I see the sample for my ads, I wanna understand simply how they are placed)
- How can I control my CPC?
- Will I receive requests to advertise other websites? Or am I already doing it unconscioulsy?
- Lastly: I sent requests to my potential partners... So does it mean that, if they accept, my ads will be shown on their website? Will their ads be shown on mine too?

Thanks David!

Hi Silvio,

I checked your account and Google Analyitcs looks good. While you don't have to place an order, I highly recommend it. I've seen many customer's who have an issue with their data not syncing properly from sites like Weebly to Google Analytics. Placing the test order gives us all peace of mind. If you get enough orders that you will see one shortly, you could hold out for it. It's totally up to you. You can always place a test order and then just refund yourself. That won't change the sale info in Google.

Basically, you tell us what kind of business you run, the products and/or services you offer, and the location and interests of your customers. With that, we find marketing partners for you in BoostSuite that would complement your business. We don't show the ads on these websites, but use them to help find you new customers that are more likely to be interested in what your business offers through the Google Ad network. When a potential customer goes to one or your partner's websites, the next time they are in the Google Ad network, your ad will display to them. Since your customer's interests are similar, they are more likely to click on the ad to visit your site. When you created your ad, there was an example to the right of the text fields. That is exactly how your ad will look in the Google Ad Network. You can click the edit button to see how it looks.

We don't have a CPC, but we do offer different tiers of numbers of clicks:

Starter plan - Free for 30 days - 25-43 clicks per month
Tall plan - $19/month - 63-109 clicks per month
Grande plan - $49/month - 163-280 clicks per month
Venti plan - $99/month - 330–556 clicks per month

Below the advertisement editing section is where you will find partners. There is also a tab for finding incoming requests from partners. From there you can confirm or decline requests. You'll want about at least 50 to 100 partners to really get good results. It's common misconception that people think they should become marketing partners with other businesses like theirs. In reality they should work with marketing partners who run other types of businesses (who are not competitive to theirs) who also have customers who are interested in what they sell.

Matching with other businesses who have similar customers is accomplished - not by the selection of your business category - but by the customer targeting settings on the second step of the signup process or in the Customer Interests section:

We recommend everyone include at least 100 customer interests in this section in their account. Definitely think outside the box. If customers interested in homebrewing are also often interested in model rockets or chess, add those interests too. Anything they are interested in is fair game and will help match the best marketing partners in our network.

I hope that helps, but if you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask!

Best Regards,
-David W.
