My website isn't a store so I can't complete a test order. What should I do?

Hi,

Since you don't have an ecommerce site, we'll optimize your campaign based on a Google Analytics goal instead of ecommerce data. To do this, you need to create a Goal within your Google Analytics account that tracks when visitors complete important actions on your website (like submitting your contact form, subscripting to your newsletter, or whatever action you deem most valuable to your business). These instructions explain how to create a Goal in Google Analytics: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1032415?hl=en. After you've created the Goal let us know the Goal # and Group # so we can configure your account to optimize targeting for visitors who reach this Goal while visiting your website.

So i went ahead and created a goal. It's for opening the second page. The Goal ID and Set are 1. Also, really good support.

Hello,

I'm not sure if its ok to respond to this thread but I had the same issue (my site isn't a ecommerce site) and I followed the steps to set up a goal. My Goal ID and Set are both 1. Can someone please help me?

It looks like we are not able to do this for customers at this time. I am very sorry for the inconvenience! Your account will still work and you will receive clicks, but the connection with BoostSuite and Google Analytics won't provide the same info as you normally would get. Unfortunately, you will still get the email asking you to connect, but you can just ignore that.
